Empire is primarily a private, membership-based outdoor shooting range. Certain classes, competitions and special events may be open to nonmembers. Drop-in reservations are allowed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Membership includes access to private outdoor shooting bays, range equipment (stands, sticks, targets, various props), guest privileges, night shooting, retail discounts and member pricing on select Empire classes.

Select the membership that fits your needs on our Membership page and complete the online registration. New members will receive the information needed to begin using the range.

Yes. Members may reserve private bays after dark for responsible low-light and night-vision training. Guests are NOT allowed after dark outside of Hang & Bang events.

Suppressors are required on rifles after 7:00 PM. Suppressors are not required on pistols.

Yes. Empire’s private bays are designed for practical training, including movement, transitions, positional shooting and other responsible dynamic training.

Yes. One guest is always included at no additional cost. Additional guests are $20 per person, per day.

Yes. Guests must attend with the member who invited them, and the member is responsible for making sure everyone in the group follows all range rules.

Range use is by reservation. Members reserve their preferred available bay through Empire’s member scheduling app before arriving.

No. Your reserved bay is private for your group during the scheduled reservation period.

Yes. Empire offers select in-house training and hosts nationally recognized instructors throughout the year. Course availability and registration details are posted on the Training page.

Not always. Many hosted courses and public events are available to nonmembers. Each course listing will explain its eligibility and registration requirements.

Empire has 11 private outdoor shooting bays in multiple sizes, including dynamic bay capability, a dedicated 100-yard bay and seasonal long-range capability.

Members have access to cardboard targets, target stands, 1×2 sticks, barrels, barricades and additional training props provided by the range.

Empire Gun Club is located at 208 US Highway 34 in Wiggins, Colorado, approximately one hour northeast of Denver depending on your starting location and traffic.
